Monthly private-sector employment estimate from payroll processor ADP. Released two days BEFORE the BLS NFP release. Often diverges meaningfully from BLS — was a poor leading indicator until ADP's 2022 methodology overhaul.

Useful primarily as a sanity check on direction (gain vs. loss) rather than precise magnitude.
