Markets
Definition
A smart-contract-managed pair (or basket) of crypto assets that traders use to swap tokens. Liquidity providers (LPs) deposit assets in proportion and earn a share of trading fees + sometimes governance token incentives.

Pool sizes range from a few thousand dollars (illiquid altcoin pairs) to billions (USDC-USDT-DAI on Curve). Pool TVL determines slippage characteristics.
